Business Breakfast: Corporation Tax for Investment and Innovation

As the year draws to a close, it’s time to prepare for the 2023 corporate income tax calculation and assess how much corporate income tax the company may have to pay.

Law Firm NOEWE, together with the Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Association (LGSPA), Estonian Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania, Polish Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce and the Lithuanian Solar Energy Association (LSEA) kindly invites you to a business breakfast on the subject of corporate income tax incentives for investment and innovation.

During the business breakfast we will discuss the current corporate income tax incentives for investment and innovation that you can use to optimise your corporate income tax today, retrospectively and in future periods. We will discuss corporate income tax incentives relevant for companies making investments or developing innovative products and services.

This event is relevant to you if you:

  • invest in long-term assets – you can reduce your corporate income tax liability to €0 (capex 200%);
  • invest in innovation – you can reduce your corporate income tax liability to €0 or generate tax losses (opex 300%) as well as get a benefit by applying reduced corporate income tax rate of 5%;
  • are interested in Lithuanian tax authority’s (VMI) current practice – practical examples of the application of incentives and Lithuanian tax authoroty’s latest practice which would help you to identify opportunities for optimising corporate income tax.
