Business Breakfast: Corporation Tax for Investment and Innovation
As the year draws to a close, it’s time to prepare for the 2023 corporate income tax calculation and assess how much corporate income tax the company may have to pay.
Law Firm NOEWE, together with the Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Association (LGSPA), Estonian Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania, Polish Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce and the Lithuanian Solar Energy Association (LSEA) kindly invites you to a business breakfast on the subject of corporate income tax incentives for investment and innovation.
During the business breakfast we will discuss the current corporate income tax incentives for investment and innovation that you can use to optimise your corporate income tax today, retrospectively and in future periods. We will discuss corporate income tax incentives relevant for companies making investments or developing innovative products and services.
This event is relevant to you if you:
- invest in long-term assets – you can reduce your corporate income tax liability to €0 (capex 200%);
- invest in innovation – you can reduce your corporate income tax liability to €0 or generate tax losses (opex 300%) as well as get a benefit by applying reduced corporate income tax rate of 5%;
- are interested in Lithuanian tax authority’s (VMI) current practice – practical examples of the application of incentives and Lithuanian tax authoroty’s latest practice which would help you to identify opportunities for optimising corporate income tax.
Speaker – Sandra Pavlova, Associate Partner for Corporate Tax Services at Noewe.
Sandra has been advising Lithuanian and foreign companies on direct and indirect tax and application of tax incentives more than ten years. She also has experience in tax optimization projects, performing tax due diligence, advising on mergers and reorganizations as well as international taxation issues. She has gained experience working with companies engaged in manufacturing activities in various industries, as well as in the information technology (IT), trade and services sectors. Sandra Pavlova is also a member and a member of the Board of the Lithuanian Tax Consultants Association, represents the interests of taxpayers at the Lithuanian tax authority and actively cooperates with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania on the adoption of tax laws and their amendments.
