Cryptographic assets in the spotlight of regulators – to flee or prepare?

We share an article published today in Verslo žinios, in which Gediminas Laucius, Legal & Tax Services Partner at “Noewe”, and Ieva Bakutienė, Licensing Services Manager at “Noewe”, share there insights on MiCA (Markets in Crypto-assets) presented by the European Commission. The document focuses on the regulation of cryptographic assets and related asset classes, as well as providers of this service. Although this comprehensive document should enter into force no earlier than 2024, but to get acquainted with the new rules of the game and get start preparing for their application now.
