GRID SCALE ESS (Energy Storage Systems) | Webinar
GRID SCALE ESS (Energy Storage Systems). Financial Environment in the Baltics. What Are We Missing Today? Next Steps for 2024–2034
ABOUT THE EVENT:
The electricity grid in the Baltics has undergone significant changes over the past five years, marked by remarkable strides in clean energy and the development of renewables like solar (PV) and wind power. However, these advancements, while commendable, are not sufficient to secure a sustainable energy future. The next crucial step involves integrating Energy Storage Systems (ESS) into the grid. ESS is essential for maintaining grid stability, preventing blackouts post-synchronization, and achieving the goal of 100% clean electricity generation.
This webinar is an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss the strategies needed to attract investment in ESS and identify the key actions required to position the Baltics as a favorable region for ESS development. By addressing the unanswered questions and challenges, this event aims to lay the groundwork for the future of energy in the Baltics.
