Gediminas Burba the director of Noewe Cyprus Ltd@Civil Resistance Forum

We are proud that Gediminas Burba, the director of Noewe #Cyprus Ltd., is an active member of the Lithuanian community in Cyprus, regularly organizing and supporting various initiatives. Gediminas continues to represent Lithuania and promote the Noewe name in Cyprus by participating in high-level events and conferences.

On September 21 in Nicosia, Cyprus, the Civil Resistance Forum took place, organized by the Lithuanian Community in Cyprus together with the Ukraine-Cyprus Friendship Community. The event attracted a large number of participants who wanted to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of civil resistance in defending democratic values, especially in light of current geopolitical challenges.

The forum was opened by Lithuania’s Ambassador Lina Skerstonaitė, who emphasized the importance of unity in these turbulent times:

“We still remember the Singing Revolution. We understand the necessity of unity and civil resistance. Today, when Ukraine needs our support more than ever, we must come together and stand united,” the ambassador stated. She also noted that this forum is a sign of strength and solidarity, showing that the Lithuanian community in Cyprus is prepared to support Ukraine until victory.
