LTVA Professional Seminar

NOEWE Associate Partner Jonas Platelis gave presentation on real estate purchase contract disputes and their consequences at the online professional seminar “News and changes in assessment activities” organized by the Lithuanian Association of Property Valuers (LTVA).

Jonas Platelis singled out aspects about the responsibilities of property valuers towards third parties and presented emerging case law: property valuer is responsible for the provided service not only to the party on whose behalf the appraisal is performed, but also to third parties who make decisions based on the prepared property valuation report.

Such persons can be credit institutions that decide on the issuance of loans and rely on property valuation reports.
