Membership in the Lithuanian Tax Advisers Association

Many countries in the European Union have associated tax advisory structures that ensure the quality of the services provided by tax advisers. Upon Lithuania’s accession to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), an additional requirement arose for the Lithuanian tax administrator to improve tax administration by reducing administrative costs and effectively combating aggressive tax planning by cooperating with tax advisors as intermediaries between the tax administrator and taxpayers. With this in mind, the Lithuanian Tax Advisers Association (Lietuvos mokesčių konsultantų asociacija – LMKA) was established a few years ago. From now on we are a member of this associations represented by Sandra Pavlova, Corporate Tax Services Manager at “Noewe”.
