Seimas Approves Long Awaited Changes

Time to celebrate – finally we have changes in Lithuanian Company Law, which are really worthy to pop champagne!
After more than a decade, long awaited liberalization was brought in, which would give much more flexibility for investors:
- More flexibility on regulation of preferred shares
- More flexibility in determining different issue prices of shares of the same emission;
- Reduced minimum share capital for closed stock companies to 1000 EUR
- More flexible payment terms for share capital;
- And many more.
Seimas approved – signature of H.E. President is much awaited for coming into force.
