MiCA Licensing

A unified EU Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) regulation is coming into the force as of 30 December, 2024. MiCA will harmonize regulations, requirements and licensing process through-out the EU.

Without MiCA license, international crypto-related businesses will lose possibility to engage in any crypto activities within EU and so will not be able to target European customers on reverse solicitation basis.

However, MiCA license holders will benefit a major competitive advantage as they will be able to operate under permissionless basis throughout EU with a sustainable regulatory environment.

Requirements for MiCA license are rather comprehesive. However, we hold a team of experts in various fields, who guides crypto businesses through overall process in terms of successful MiCA license obtainment (i.e., from initial stage of business plan and MiCA application documents preparation till reconciliation of application documents with the Bank of Lithuania and thorough support in post-licensing stages).

Services
  • Assistance in obtaining MiCA license
  • Preparation of application documents (business plan, legal documents, AML documents)
  • Liaising in relationship with the Bank of Lithuania during license application process
  • Post-license MiCA compliance services
