Today, members of the defense sector gathered at the D9 Artsy Office for the traditional
Lithuanian Defence And Security Industries Association’s business breakfast.
The special guest of the breakfast was the country’s next European Commissioner – Andrius Kubilius.
Mr. Kubilius has been named as a potential candidate to take up the newly created defence commissioner role with the main task to strengthen the EU’s arms industry following Russia’s war against Ukraine.
With our guests today we’ve discussed the security issues of Ukraine and the European Union, the development of the defense industry of the European Union and Lithuania, and the integration of the industry into the national defense system.
