Business Management Consulting Team @GFarm for LIFE Project

As the European Union (EU) aims to become a climate-neutral region by 2050, it is crucial not only to significantly reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions but also to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Therefore, EU institutions have agreed on the Carbon Removal Certification Framework (#CRCF) regulation, which aims to facilitate the development of a transparent, reliable, and efficiently functioning carbon credits market.

How is Lithuania preparing to implement this regulation, what challenges lie ahead, and how can our country become a role model for others? These questions were examined by experts in a recent discussion of the “GFarm for LIFE” project, moderated by Saulius Damulevičius, an associate partner in business management consulting at the NOEWE group.

The “GFarm for LIFE” project aims to create a national carbon removal certification and monitoring model to more accurately assess GHG emissions and carbon sequestration in agriculture, forestry, and other land use (AFOLU) sectors.
