The Procedure for the Completion of Constructionand the Registration of an Unfinished Building is Changing

From 1 May, 2022 amendments to the Construction Law of the Republic of Lithuania and related legal acts regarding the completion of construction and the registration and transfer of an unfinished structure came into force.
The process of issuing declarations and certificates will not be carried out by the public sector (Building Inspectorate), but by more than 30 different construction expertise companies that exist today. Will such reform of legal regulation justify the expectations of speeding up the procedures for approval of Declarations and Certificates?
